SAFETY PLAN

The overall objective for the New Egypt Girls Softball Safety Plan (NEGSSP) is to provide a safe environment for the players of New Egypt Girls Softball (NEGS), their families, and all league officials and participants. An additional objective of this safety manual is to provide a resource of safety information.

CODE OF CONDUCT

In order to promote teamwork and mutual respect between players, coaches, umpires and spectators, the New Egypt Girls Softball League (NEGS) has established this "Code of Conduct" ("the Code"). The Code shall act as a guide in setting clear expectations for the actions of players, coaches and spectators as it is intended to provide behavioral guidance for all involved.

The Code was not designed to address every possible behavioral circumstance; however, it shall serve as the Organization’s standard for behavioral evaluation. It shall be the obligation of ALL program participants, spectators and volunteers, to comply with the terms and provisions of the Code of Conduct. Any person violating the Code shall be subject to administrative action, up to and including termination of his/her privilege to participate in, or attend, any or all NEGS sponsored activities.

ADMINISTRATION OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT

A document will be distributed to all Managers and will be part of the NEGS Safety Plan. It will be the responsibility of the Managers to distribute and review the document with all Parents, Coaches and Players on their respective teams. This document will be posted on this website for everyone’s access.

While we always anticipate a great season, we expect that you will embrace this Code of Conduct and assist NEGS in our mission “to provide our community with a recreational softball league so that every child may play in a safe and friendly environment!”

We thank you in anticipation of your cooperation.
